Place Hotel Manchester – Our Delightful Restaurant and Bar

The combination of arched ceilings, Victorian brickwork, industrial ironwork and designer furnishings makes the Place Hotel a unique and special place to visit and our bar and restaurant areas are no exception.

Split over three levels, The Place Hotel Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and offers a fine dining environment for any occasion, but especially breakfast.

With the morning sun flooding in through French windows opening on to our cobble-stoned courtyard garden, breakfast in our beautiful and spacious restaurant, seating 250, will leave you feeling refreshed, invigorated and ready to start your day.

While our main restaurant area is grand and spectacular our stylish café bar offers a more informal experience, seating 50, and occupying a corner of our magnificent lobby, with inspiring views of the hotel’s unique open plan design.

The comfortable seating of our lounge bar with soft leather sofas and bistro dining tables is complimented by modern art works and opulent light fittings.

A spiral staircase leads up to our atrium, a photographer’s dream with palm trees, fountains, ornate railings and vaulted ceilings just some of the eye-catching details.

Breakfast and Dining Services

All of our breakfasts are served in the hotel’s Grade II listed restaurant and made using produce from the best locally-sourced suppliers. A choice of hot full English breakfast or a full continental option is available, and as an alternative, breakfast can be delivered up to your apartment.

Breakfast service:

7am - 10am - Monday - Friday
8am - 11am - Saturday and Sunday

For guests in a rush we also offer breakfast to go. Ask at our reception for this service.

You can also enjoy a luxury lie in with breakfast in bed, or if you’re celebrating or just fancy a treat why not try a champagne breakfast?

The Place Hotel Manchester restaurant serves an exclusive new lunch menu between 12pm and 4.30pm for all our guests either downstairs in the bar lounge, or direct to your apartment.

Our appetising evening menu is available from 5pm to 9.30pm, offering everything from Rib Eye Steak, Caesar Salad to Home Made Lasagne served with Melted Cheese and Garlic Bread.

Our wine list presents fabulous new and old world wines as well as a fine choice of sparking wine and champagne, including a vintage Dom Perignon for those extra special occasions…

The Place Hotel Manchester bar serves guests drinks into the wee hours if required and courtesy of our large flat screen TV can be the venue for major sporting events.
